How to Save Money for your Wedding

MY LAKE WEDDING By: iNovemberain

April 14, 2018 the day i was officially become a MRS.

and there's always alternative ways to get married in a inexpensive ways. like CIVIL WEDDING

and i said to myself if they can do it, i can too.

I start with my backdrop flowers, i watched YouTube how to make your own backdrop it was so easy  but it will take a lot of effort and patience. minsan napapaso kapa sa glue gun. masalit siya, pero tiis paso para sa pangarap na kasal. and it's all worth it naman.

My Backdrop is my Main Door. Why not? were talking about saving money here. i don't need to spend another bucks for a fancy backdrop. (pintuan lang talo talo na) everything in there is all DIY from the "JUST MARRIED" banner, flowers, & Butterflies is all DIY's

And of course if we have a house decorations dapat meron din sa Lake kasi doon tayo mag papakasal e.

DIY ARCH WITH FLOWERS THAT I BOUGHT FROM AMAZON
Imagine me cutting twigs in the woods? yes i am cutting twigs in the woods its free why not?
with the help of my dodonglabs naman e. making arch is require a lots of musscle. pang malakasang  trabaho siya, kasi kailangan mong e bend ang mga sanga-sanga. and you need gloves to do that.

My DIY ARCH on the lake
April 14, 2018 (saturday) the day of our wedding i pray to God na bigyan naman kami ng magandang pahanon  kasi the whole week is a really nasty day. friday it was raining like crazy thunder, lightning name it. and saturday it was a perfect day 82 Degrees and sunday it was raining like crazy again. kumbaga isang araw na magandang panahon lang talaga ang ibinigay ni God sa akin, kasi yon lang din manan ang hiniling ko sa kanya.

Woke up at 6am to put my arch on the lake, t ang lake is for the home owners to use only. pag nauna ka ikaw ang makaka gamit. kasi pag maganda ang panahon maraming nag ka kayak, and fishing sa lake. so  early bird ka dapat kong gusto mong mauna. at yong lake nga pala ay dalawang tumbling lang from our house. so tumambling na ako ng maaga. lol

My Filipna Friends/Family by Hearts

My Mother And Father Inlaw they are from North Carolina, they travel 300 miles to Virgina to attend our Wedding

Inggit Much ako dahil may Lechon sila

Sa kasal ko nga pala dito sa america, instead of us making the foods i asked my filipina friends na sila ang mag dala ng food para pag salo-salohan. instead of giving us a gift food nalang. kasi may mga gamit naman na kami sa bahay. the momories that counts. regalo is a bunos  nalang. ang mahalaga ay ang alaala na aming pinag samahan sa araw ng kasal. im so thankful kasi ang lalayo ng mga friends ko pero nag sama sama sila sa araw ng kasal ko. nag laan talga sila ng panahon at oras. and i am forever greatful na sila ang naging kaibigiban ko.

DIY Paper Flowers

MY DIY FLOWER and my Backdrop

DIY Wedding Arches

Getting married requires a lot of money especially here in the United States. but thank God DIY always on the other side just  use your wide imaginations, google and youtube  and a little bit of effort  and your good to go. so i only have 5 weeks to plan my wedding at the same time i'am working full time.  don't really have much time to plan. but of course my hands are working and searching for the ideas i really want. i'm a country girl (probinsyana) i want a rustic lake wedding with a mountain view. since we are so close to the lake (2 minutes walk) why can't i use the perfect view for free?  libre na yun as long as you are a homeowners.

My arches are made of twigs. just make sure you cut your twigs from your land, you don't want get the twigs from your neighbors property! or you can ask if you could have some.  you don't want to be in trouble. but not in the Philippines right? libre ang mga sanga sanga doon.. kahit anjan pa ag may ari ng kahoy hehehehe.

Things you need:

Twigs (maliliit na sanga)
zip tie (to secure your arches)
artificial flowers or real flowers

First you nee to find a spot where you can start your arches frame. like what i did para ma tantsa mo ang sukat at yung arch na din.
keep doing it until you decide the thickness of the arches the bigger the better. don't worry kong maraming naka usling mga maliliit na sanga, mas natural sya pag medyo messy ang arches mo.

My fiance now my husband is trying to figure it out how to put a vines and a flower
the arches is 75 inches wide 90 inches long.. and i' kinda short so i asked him to put the flowers on.
the flowers are artificial but you can't really tell cause it looks real. so kong gusto nyong makatipid
artificial is the one dahil alam ko kong gaano ka mahal ang tunay na mga bulaklak.

With my friend @ the Lake of the clouds

DIY Christmas Wreath

Christmas is on the Air

Being a filipina, we are so excited when the (BER) months are coming up. Christmas in the Philippines start on September 1st. Christmas song all over the place. (ramdam mo talagang malapit na ang pasko) of course you gotta spend money for  Christmas, so i come up with the idea of making my own wreath

(Christmas) is the annual Christian festival celebrating Christ's birth, held on December 25 in the Western Church.

Finish Product of my Wreath
Wreath and Center piece

Some believe that initially wreaths were hung on doors in Ancient Rome to represent victory. In Christianity, the Christmas wreath was used to symbolize Christ. The circular shape, with no beginning or end, represents eternity or life never ending.

This is how i save money on Christmas.
Raw Materials

Materials you needs:

Twig (maliliit na sanga)
Wires
Fake flowers (you can get it in devisoria)
Cutter (pang putol sa wire
gloves ( to protect your hand)

First cut some twig, make a ring out of it. and after you can  insert your flower the way you want it.

Stuffed Bell Pepper Recipe

Green pepper are fresh from the garden. red are fresh from walmart

Weather is very cold for the whole week. so i decided to picked my pepper from the garden. my pepper are frost this morning. instead of waiting them to turn red, nah! im gonna make a stuffed pepper for dinner. heres the recipe from google and the link. happy pocket gardening.

How To Make Stuffed Peppers

Makes 8 servings

What You Need

Ingredients8 medium red, yellow, or orange bell peppers (about 4 pounds)
1 teaspoon kosher salt, plus more for seasoning
1 tablespoon olive or vegetable oil
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 pound lean ground beef
1 1/2 cups cooked rice
1 (15-ounce) can diced tomatoes
8 ounces shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Equipment9x13-inch baking dish
Cutting board
Knife
Large saucepan
Wooden spoon or spatula
Canning funnel (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the oven: Arrange a rack in the middle of the oven and heat to 375°F. Pour just enough water (about 1 cup) to cover the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish; set aside.
  2. Prepare the peppers: Cut off the tops of the peppers. Remove and discard any seeds and membranes from both the cap and interior. Remove the stems from the tops and roughly chop the pepper caps. Sprinkle the inside of the peppers with the 1 teaspoon salt.
  3. Par-cook the peppers: Place the peppers in the prepared baking dish and cover tightly with aluminum foil. Bake for 10 minutes. Uncover and let cool while you prepare the filling.
  4. Make the filling: Meanwhile, heat the oil in a large saucepan over medium heat until shimmering. Add the onion and chopped pepper tops, season with salt, and cook, stirring occasionally, until softened, about 8 minutes. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute longer. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking the meat up with a spatula as it cooks, until cooked through, about 8 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the rice and tomatoes.
  5. Fill the peppers: Evenly divide the mixture among the peppers (use a canning funnel if you have one). Divide the cheese over each pepper.
  6. Bake: Bake uncovered until the peppers are softened, the filling is hot, and the cheese is melted, about 20 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Recipe Notes

  • Make ahead: The peppers can be stuffed and refrigerated up to 1 day ahead. Add 10 minutes baking time.
  • Storage: Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

Total ……….4,400

15,000
-4,400
Total 10,600.00

So we already removed the house rent, water, electricity, and gas. And you only have 10,600.00 left.
10,600.00 is 2,650.00 a week budget

This is only a week of my computation. So if you can repeat the same method.

5 SURE WAYS TO SAVE MONEY

5 SURE WAYS TO SAVE MONEY

Maliban nalang kong kailangang kailangan mo.

2. Live within your means
To Live within your means, is to buy only what you can afford. Wag ipilit besss baka dumugo

3. Take care of what you have.

4. Wear it out
Whats the last item you actually wore out?

5. Do it Yourself (DIY)
Usong uso to ngayon ang do it yourself. Kong kaya mo namang gawin ang isang bagay! Bakit di mo gawin? Minsan ang katamaran ang pinapairal. (halimbawa) mag papasko? Gumawa ng mga DIY wreath , Christmas tree. And be more creative. Kong di mo alam YouTube can always help you.
